What customers say?

“ Staff is very friendly and sashimi is delicious. Plate for four people was around 2000 yen. ”

“ This is a small (just a few tables and a counter) seafood restaurant very near Kichijoji station. Reservations are recommended. It's a bit expensive, but the food is great. Try the assorted sashimi platter, it's amazing. The big grilled fish head was wonderful, with soft juicy meat. One of their specialties is fresh nori soup with a big block of tofu in it. They have a nice assortment of sake and Japanese beer. The staff was friendly and quick. If you are a fan of seafood, this is the place for you. ”

“ Great food, atmosphere and fair prices - recommend! ”

“ My meal was mainly served by a male waiter with a poker face and a soft voice. He generally maintained a blank expression throughout, but there were two moments when my eyes lit up when the croquettes arrived as an appetizer, and when I said goodbye after paying the bill. He flashed a truly beautiful, beaming smile, and for some reason, I felt incredibly happy. (lol) The contrast between his eyes, which absorbed the light to the fullest, and the wide-angle shot was stark. The appetizers, the scallop cream croquette and minced meat cutlet, were absolutely delicious!! (Maybe they're good at deep-fried foods...it's authentic!) The batter was crispy and had a strong flavor. The minced meat cutlet in particular was of high quality, and the meat was succulent and delicious. The sauce was also exquisite, neither too thick nor too thin! It was delicious! The salted fish fries had a great texture and just the right amount of seasoning, pairing perfectly with the potatoes! I'd always thought that salted fish at cheaper places is usually too strong and lacks texture, but today my impression was completely overturned. The sashimi was also often thick and flavorful, and I felt it was definitely good value for money. Overall, it was a satisfying restaurant! ”

“ If you leave the north exit of Kichijoji Station and walk towards UNIQLO, you'll find it on the first basement floor on your left. This is one of the places to go if you want to eat delicious fish in Kichijoji. I think the prices have gone up and the quality and quantity have gone down recently, but it's still a popular restaurant so it's best to make a reservation. ”

“ I frequent this restaurant frequently. Everything I eat is delicious. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere and isn't noisy, which I like. I think the senior discount on drinks is a great service for customers over 60. ”

“ I opened this restaurant in March 2025. I managed to make a reservation for two people on the day. Uokin is famous all over the country, but this was my first time at the Kichijoji branch. As expected, the sashimi platter was fresh and delicious. The silver cod seemed a bit pricey at 900 yen, but the large fillets made it well worth it. Absolutely delicious. I was particularly surprised by the large bowl of simmered green onion tofu. It might be a good idea to order it instead of soup. My friend wasn't feeling well and couldn't eat much, but he was very satisfied with the silver cod. Considering the quality of the sashimi platter, I think the price is reasonable. ”

“ As expected of Uokin, the food was delicious. The sushi is probably more affordable than the sashimi. It's a shame that the selection of grilled and boiled fish is limited. If they don't differentiate themselves here, they'll just be another izakaya. ”
